The M-65 liner was introduced in the late 1960s as an added layer for soldiers to wear in their M-65 Field Jackets—an upgraded replacement for the M-1951 Field Jacket used in the Korean War, itself an improvement of WWII's M-1943 Jacket.

The separately issued liner piece was made of a nylon onion-quilted outer shell with polyester, designed to better serve soldiers fighting in Vietnam's tropical and, at times, brutal climate.

Over the decades, the M-65 Field Jacket has been endlessly reinterpreted by designers from all over the world. In recent years though, the M-65 Liner has managed to make a name for itself as a staple piece in the fashion world.

This is a liner for an M-65 Field Jacket, made in 1970. Faded tag. Stitching on neck and sleeve.

Flat Measurements:
Armpit to armpit: 21"
Shoulder to shoulder: 17.5"
