The Hettrick Mfg. Co. advertised their American Field brand by saying the line of "gun coats" and hunting clothes were "designed by an old timer". Whether that's true or not, they were made to last till you were an old timer yourself. This one's from the 40s/50s and has held up beautifully.
Olive drab cotton canvas; tan "game pocket" liner secures with hooks and Talon zippers. Corduroy collar and lined cuffs, locker loop and padded right shoulder. Two front cartridge pockets, one dual chest pocket - a flap pocket with smaller stacked water-resistant pocket on top. Grommet ventilation at underarms. Made in USA.
