An exceedingly rare piece of vintage American sportswear, this '40s satin baseball jacket is truly beautiful. Made by storied American sportswear brand Felco, which was revived under Japanese ownership and produces garments to this day using the same old school techniques and equipment that went into making pieces like this one. The front has been chainstitch embroidered with the name "Milt" and the back is patched with the letters "P.F.D." Killer green and white colour scheme, with striped and trimmed sleeves, striped rib knit collar, cuffs and hem. Two front hand pockets. Felco branded snaps. Raglan sleeves. An American classic. Made in USA.
Some loose/frayed stitching and light discolouration consistent with age. Overall, in remarkable condition.
