During WWII beginning in 1941, US Navy sailors warm and tropical climates were issued a general duty working uniform consisting of white hat, jumper and trousers, known as the Undress White Service Uniform. Made of a white cotton twill, fewer of these uniforms are seen today as the white was prone to staining and the uniforms were often disposed of and replaced.
Original US Navy 1940s WWII white cotton twill trousers. Constructed with wide single piece legs with no outseam and a wide cuff. Two front low-profile "watch" pockets with no rear pockets. Five button fly and waist closure with belt loops.
