With sportswear, we're looking for a rich history, the kind of legacy that is intertwined with the stories of our greatest athletes - Rawlings certainly fits the bill, having been founded in 1887 and being associated not only with pro baseball, but with sport in general and, for many of us, our own childhoods.
Beautiful, thrashed vintage Rawlings football jersey from the late '50s/early '60s. As with most jerseys from the era, the rayon blend fabric is fantastic. Classic construction, with separate shoulder panelling, sleeve stripes, stitched-on number patches and interior fabric elbow pads. Number 57 on front and rear. Interior Rawlings tags at hem. Made in USA.
Heavy wear has left a number of holes and some loose stitching, giving this piece a lot of character. Please examine photos to assess condition.
