A huge number of midcentury deerskin leather products came out of Wisconsin. It was, for a time, a major manufacturing hub for deerskin products, from jackets to gloves and beyond. This '60s deerskin beauty was made by Milfur, a tannery and manufacturer out of Milwaukee. We've had Milfur jackets before and they are really stunning.

This one is a western-style belted fringe jacket, in a beautiful caramel/tan colour deerskin. The leather is exceptionally soft and supple, and nicely creased with wear. All-over fringe, with two front fringed patch pockets, four button front closure (two buttons are missing) and a deerskin double D-ring belt at the waist, while the collar is a classic wide notched lapel. Fully lined.

Please note there is some cracking and wear/abrasion to the leather. See photos.
