A faded black western shirt from 1960s Rockmount, with red corded piping details at the chest, back, and sleeve.

Jack Weil started Rockmount
Ranch Wear in Denver, Colorado back in 1946. Over the years the company has established itself a leading role in Western Wear as they were the first company to put Snaps on men’s shirts as well as the first company to commercially produce the Bolo Tie.

Museums including the Smithsonian and Autry Museum of the American West have Rockmount in their collections. Their signature “Sawtooth” pocket and “Diamond” snap design is considered the longest continuously made shirt in the USA.
