Super cool, deadstock/never worn United Airlines uniform shirt from the '60s/early '70s, probably a pilot's shirt. The styling is a simple and straightforward short-sleeved sky blue button-up, but the details are what makes this so great: exceptionally well-sewn and union made, cleanly constructed of once-revolutionary Dacron Polyester (a DuPont innovation from the '50s) and partially hand marked.
USA made by Hathaway. Side gussets have red "H" stitch. Super lightweight, soft, "durable press" wrinkle-resistant Dacron poly/cotton blend fabric. Union stamp on inside placket at hem. Hand marked numbers on outside beside placket near hem. Single chest pocket. Collar stays. United Air Lines tag at inside collar. Made in USA.
