We actually love true vintage fake Levi's - vintage fakes tend to actually be constructed quite well compared to modern jeans, made of fairly nice old denim and, when you know what to look for in terms of period-correct details on vintage Levi's, they're also just kind of quirky and funny.
They really did their best on these to approximate a late '70s/early '80s pair of 501s, but the details are a bit mismatched. Regardless, they undeniably look vintage, especially in the character of the fabric. The denim is actually quite nice, and overall to the untrained eye they're passable as a pair of Levi's; the stitching is a bit sloppy in a few spots, one of the "copper" rivets has had its finish wear off, the rear patch has mysteriously faded away and the waistband button has been replaced at some point with a coat of arms button. You gotta love the quirkiness of this pair. Probably made in Mexico.
