Gun laying is the process of aiming a turret or artillery piece. The Rules of Lay are the rules for the aiming and firing of a tank in the US Army: End lay in elevation, aim at the center of visible mass, and remember the sight picture at trigger squeeze.

Printed on a super soft single stitch '80s Screen Stars tee, this is a badass vintage US Army tee, worn by a gunner or other member of a tank crew. "The Rules of Lay will make your day" is printed across the front, along with "AOB 17-86" probably referring to a particular Advanced Operations Base (AOB). Tank with crosshairs (aimed at center mass) graphic across the middle. Probably printed by a soldier for personal use, this is an awesome and unique piece of militaria.
