In 1973, after the Vietnam War, the cotton sateen OG-107 uniform was gradually replaced by the OG-507, which was a nearly identical shade of olive green, but produced in an easier-to-maintain 50/50 cotton/poly blend. The OG-507 fabric tended to maintain its darker original colour much longer than the 107, which faded quite quickly. The two fabrics have a different hand feel, and 507s tend to show much less wear and tear than 107s, owing to their more durable nature. The design is otherwise nearly identical.

Killer Cold War-era OG-507 short-sleeve utility shirt, made in '82 and featuring the iconic Seabees stamp and flying bumblebee mascot at the left chest pocket, with US Navy patch above. The Seabees are the Navy's famous fighting construction battalions (CBs), legendary for their ingenuity on the field and ability to build, innovate and also fight. This Seabee uniform is in great condition, with one small snag/hole above the right chest pocket. Made in USA by Selma Apparel Corporation.
