Four owners. Two specialties. Coffee and clothing.
You can now find us at two locations in Toronto's East End.
You'll find coffee, all of which is roasted, blended, and served by Zoe and Gabby at 348 Pape Ave., alongside some select pieces and an amazing back patio for hanging out and community events.
You'll also find vintage clothing. Mainly specialized in workwear and military (with complementary pieces sprinkled in), our pieces are all carefully selected and sourced from around the world by Matt and Jen. Some can be found at 348 Pape, but the bulk of our collection is over at 841 Gerrard St. E., alongside homewares, local makers, and our bags of roasted beans and packaged drinks to go.
But we strive to be a little more than just a café/retail shop.
We opened up in September 2018 with the idea to create a space that not only was a welcoming spot for anyone and everyone to come hang out for a drink, shop, or chat, but also a place that served as a hub, focused on community involvement and showcasing local artists, makers, creatives, and people. In the past 3 years, we've used our space to host up-and-coming musicians, bands, and comedians for our music and comedy shows (“and music.” and “and comedy.”).
In support of local artists, we’ve created a feature wall at 348 Pape, where artists showcase and sell their work for their month of residency. We've also brought in a carefully selected group of local makers for some small, handmade shopping.
We've met some pretty cool people along the way, many who've inspired us with their style, passions, and personalities. As a way to show you more of where we draw inspiration from—and just to show you how cool and amazing these people are—we thought it would be fun to start a series of short films that feature our friends. You can watch them over on our media page.
We look forward to having you by for a drink, shop, and proper hang out. Thanks for stopping by our space on the web. We so appreciate your support and you being here.
