We source a lot of great leather jackets, but every so often one comes along that has us all fired up - this is one of those jackets. Stunning, exceptionally special, buttery soft deerskin leather jacket, made in the '50s by Milfur, a tannery and manufacturer out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It also features an original brass IDEAL zipper in perfect condition, still operating very smoothly.
One of our favourite things about this jacket is that it is lined with rarely-seen Milium, introduced in the '50s as a lightweight insulated lining that used a heavy flannel backing with metal threads sewn into it, and provided a lot of warmth for its weight in the cold, while supposedly keeping you cool in warm weather. Better yet, the finish is an incredible shiny, iridescent blue!
Two chest pockets. Leather wrapped buttons. Hem/waist latch closure and throat latch. Buttoned cuffs. Locker loop. Wide collar. Made in USA.
