First introduced in the early 1950s these jackets remain state-of-the-art in regards of design and quality. They are an extremely rare part of Canadian navy military history.
The 1950’s RCN Chore Jackets are a thing of beauty. This particular version is extremely soft and broken in indigo denim.
These jackets were made for general work and labor on the deck of post-war Battleships, and like most Canadian military garments are incredibly difficult to find.
Two large chest pockets, collar tab, adjustable waist straps on either side, original tag missing but stitching leftover.
