As far as military cold weather gear goes, the Canadian Forces obviously know what they're doing. Case in point: this cold weather parka, made by Peerless Garments for the CF. Water- and wind-proof nylon shell, heavily insulated, with a coyote fur trimmed, fully lined hood.
Similar in functionality to the American N-3B, this has details distinct to the Canadian Forces: signature tab-mounted, extra-large buttons for exceptional durability and ease while wearing gloves, shoulder epaulets, heavy duty Canadian-made Lightning zipper and yellow fabric sewn-on sleeves for visibility. Hem is adjustable via drawstring.Back of coat is stencilled, "Canadian Forces G30". A few small repairs/patches.
