This is a wonderfully clean example of the 1944 Bulova A-11. Dating to the Second World War, this watch remained in a private military collection for many years. The hacking feature - designed to ensure precision during the time-setting process - is fully functional. It comes on a new old stock period correct strap. The dial and hands are simply amazing, with full, intact lume and a gorgeous railroad outer seconds track. The case and bezel have minor wear consistent with the watch’s age.
All the original military markings are preserved perfectly on the caseback.
