A totally unique piece of horological and military history, this UWECO UG is simply one of a kind. Dating to WW2, the condition of the piece is absurd given its period and use. Fully intact lume throughout its hands and numbers, this watch has a rare transitional dial (UWECO Universal would later become Universal Geneve).
The original strap features a unique “SOS” metal decal, harbouring the full details of the original owner (in case of injury or death). It's truly a miracle this has survived in such pristine condition. You will not find another quite like it anywhere in the world.
This watch (~25x42mm, 18mm lug width) comes from the private collection of a long time Universal Geneve collector.
