Lowe & Campbell manufactured athletic goods in Kansas City from the early 1900s until 1931 when Wilson acquired the company, and they continued producing under their own label until 1961. The brand made beautiful, extremely high quality sportswear for many legendary teams and athletes - including Babe Ruth. These are the kind of pieces that are in better shape 100 years later than that jacket you bought at the mall last year. Their goods are still considered highly collectible.

Superb American-made all wool letterman sweater in a rich eggplant hue and a tight, masterful knit. Two stripes on sleeve, two pockets and large "W" with football patch. Amazing handmade single stitch construction that still feels unassailable after 7 decades. This cardigan is a testament to early 20th century American sportswear and knits and looks virtually brand new, with barely a sign of wear anywhere on the garment. Tonal seven button front closure. Made in the USA.
