There are few flight jackets more coveted or iconic than the original USAF B-15 Bomber Jacket. Rivaled only by the USAF MA-1, which replaced the B-15. This is the holy grail of bomber jackets and one of the most timelessly cool garments ever produced.
The U.S Air Force Type B-15C Bomber replaced the earlier Olive Drab (OD) Type B-15B Bomber in 1950. By 1950 the Air Force began changing the colour of most of its flying clothing from Olive Drab to Air Force Blue. The B-15C was only produced for one year in the OD colour and was exclusively given to active aircrew in the Korean War thus making it extremely collectible and hard to come by.
This one has a mouton collar, a knit waist and cuffs, and a nylon shell. Marked a size 38.
This jacket was produced by Monarch MFG. Co.
Sold as is: Jacket has some staining on armpits. Zipper has been repaired and reinforced but might stick from time to time.
